Quadropscope II

2013 2′ x 3′ x 3′ Mirrored acrylic, broken mirrors, wood, rope, electric fan motor, 4 video projectors Quadropscope 2 is a room sized ocular device, where five mirrored extensions channel into five different projector scenarios, casting a collision of reflected films around the wearer’s headspace. Inside each of the mirrored chambers are pieces of broken mirrors and glass hanging from strings, further fragmenting and reflecting light onto all of the walls. Additionally there is a modified oscillating fan motor inside of the top-most chamber, creating a constant movement of the reflections as the glass attached to strings moves to the mechanized wind.
