2013 2′ x 2′ x 2′ mirrors, wood, duct tape, HAMMER When creating the first Pandora’s Prism, I took careful time to make sure the glass would not break, however I was curious to see how the sculpture would look if it was broken glass instead of perfectly neat surfaces (as seen in Lumino-kaleidoscope). When I brought in this broken glass sculpture into the Wood Shop (just one day after building it), the look on the instructor’s face was well worth condemning myself to “seven years of bad luckâ€. Everyone thought I had accidentally dropped it, but this video performance is proof that I destroyed my craftsmanship in style.
